Black Sea

Its hydro-optical properties strongly depend on the study area, but in general are determined by the combined influence of the growing anthropogenic load due to the development of the coastline, seasonal bloom of coccolithophorids, intensive coastal runoff of mountain and lowland rivers, as well as the contribution of warm waters of the Sea of Azov.
