From 31 October to 3 November 2016, a LIF lidar recorded chlorophyll-a, CDOM, and suspended matter across Lake Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan. The track covers the lake’s clear, oligotrophic surface waters.

The published figures include the 2016 campaign and later surveys in July 2022. A separate Sentinel-2 study published in 2023 used a one-day match-up dataset to develop regional retrieval models; its observation counts do not describe the 2016 track shown here.
