From 30 November to 2 December 2016, a LIF lidar recorded chlorophyll-a, CDOM, and suspended matter at the mouth of Patos Lagoon on the southern Brazilian coast. The transects followed the plume into the adjacent South Atlantic coastal water.

The field work involved Brazil’s Universidade Federal do Rio Grande. The published figures show chlorophyll-a, total organic carbon, and suspended matter; the track view reports the channels and units of the 2016 measurement record.
