The two OQOMETHI stations installed in April have been fitted with the current versions of the mFL-12 micro-fluorescence lidar and the mHR-2 micro-hyperspectral radiometer. Both instruments are integrated into autonomous micro-stations developed by vorteX-io for long-term operation with minimal intervention on site.
The mHR-2 records daylight reflectance while the mFL-12 measures fluorescence from chlorophyll-a and CDOM. Both instruments observe the same water at each station.
The complete systems have been in field testing since April 2026, operating unattended under natural conditions. The deployment is used to assess measurement performance together with reliability, remote operation, and data continuity over a period of months.
The work is carried out with vorteX-io and Magellium within OQOMETHI, supported by France 2030 and operated by ADEME.
